Generations of Giving is a month-long matching gift campaign that gives donors the special opportunity to invest in the future of our region and multiply their impact. Donations made from September 1 - 30 are eligible to be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000 thanks to a generous grant from the Patterson Family Foundation. Match funds will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Donations that exceed $100,000 will still be received, but will not be matched. All funds must be used for charitable purposes, and cannot be used for gun raffles, political organizations, carnivals, fireworks, or Donor-Advised Funds.
Donors can participate in two ways:
Give to the Foundation’s Legacy Fund
Empower the Foundation to build permanent, flexible resources that support annual grantmaking focused on the community’s greatest needs.
No min. gift amount required | No match cap
Establish an Endowment Fund
Create a lasting legacy with a permanent fund, where only a portion of the annual earnings is distributed—ensuring ongoing support for the causes, nonprofits, and community needs you care about most.
$2,500 min. gift | $10,000 match cap per fund
