Generations of Giving is a month-long matching gift campaign that gives donors the special opportunity to invest in the future of our region and multiply their impact. Donations made from September 1 - 30 are eligible to be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000 thanks to a generous grant from the Patterson Family Foundation. Match funds will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
Donors can participate in two ways:
Give to the Foundation’s Legacy Fund
Empower the Foundation to build a stronger future and provide flexible, timely support for our community’s greatest needs.
No min. gift amount required | No match cap
Establish an Endowment Fund
Create a lasting legacy that supports the causes, nonprofits, and evolving needs of our community that you care about most.
$2,500 min. gift | $10,000 match cap per fund

CHOOSE YOUR FUND:
Unrestricted
Funds are granted to where they are needed most
Designated
Funds are granted to a specific nonprofit
Field of Interest
Funds are granted to a specific area of interest
Agency
Funds is established by a 501(c)(3) organization
MATCHING GIFT GUIDELINES:
50% of matched funds go to the Foundation’s Legacy Fund
Add matched funds to the principal of the established endowment fund, or
Use matched funds to create an expendable or pass thru fund to provide an immediate grant to a nonprofit
50% of matched funds are directed by the donor in 1 of 2 ways:
